Layer Cake

The layer cake has existed in Denmark for serval hundreds of years, and these are ideal for celebrations all year round. The layer cake can be made with all sorts of filling e.g. cake cream, whipped cream, jam or fresh fruit before it is beautifully decorated. 

At Coronet, our traditional layer cakes are based on a sugar bread dough, which gives the layers a light and airy consistency. We offer our ordinary three-layer sponge cake in two thicknesses. In addition, we also produce layer cakes for wholesale. These are handled in a frozen setup, which makes it possible always to have fresh layers in stock.
