Ginger Cookies or ‘brunkager’ in Danish is a traditional Danish cookie, which is primarily eaten in the winter around Christmas. The cookies are among other things baked with classic spices such as, cloves, orange peel, cinnamon and ginger, which adds a delicious and spicy flavour.
We have several recipes in our portfolio, which gives you the possibility to choose if you want them with or without almonds or/and butter. E.g., butter can add something extra to the taste of the delicious crispy ginger cookies.
Furthermore, we have different options in regard to the size and appearance of the cookie; – you can choose whether you want it round or wavy, big or small. Each has its own charm, but common for them all is the understanding of the classic Ginger Cookies that we have baked for several generations.
